Pet Flex (Owner App)
Personal — Expo veterinary care platform for pet owners
Role: Personal project — sole builder
Overview
Pet Flex owner app is the pet-owner surface of a veterinary care platform: health records, reminders, nutrition, and clinic booking, sharing one Supabase backend with admin and clinic surfaces.
The core challenge
Solo-building a production-minded Expo app with auth, offline-friendly storage, notifications, media, and IAP hooks — while keeping architecture and requirements disciplined enough to grow into a multi-app platform.
The engineering solution
Shipped an Expo Router app under src/ with feature modules, theme tokens, and a clear mock-to-Supabase path. Used Superpowers (brainstorm → spec → plan → implement), Graphify for codebase knowledge graphs, and Codegraph for symbol/call-path exploration, plus Cursor skills for Expo, design taste, and verification.
Architecture
- Expo SDK 57 · React Native 0.86 · React 19 · TypeScript strict with Expo Router (typed routes, React Compiler)
- Feature-oriented UI under src/components and routes under src/app/(owner) and (auth)
- Supabase client integration path with local SQLite / offline considerations
- Native capabilities: notifications, camera, location, secure store, IAP (expo-iap)
- Agent tooling: Superpowers workflow, Graphify knowledge graph, Codegraph exploration, Expo + design-taste skills
Highlights
- Personal product spanning owner mobile UX, shared backend, and admin ops
- Agent-assisted delivery with Superpowers specs/plans and Graphify/Codegraph orientation
- Expo skills lockfile and AGENTS.md baseline for consistent stack-aware agent work
End-to-end mobile product foundation for Pet Flex, demonstrating modern Expo architecture and AI-augmented engineering practice.
